From Athletic Wear To Healthcare, VESTEX® Is Everywhere
We got our start by engineering the FIRST and ONLY FDA-cleared active barrier apparel created for the healthcare industry, but we soon were approached by other industry-leading brands with the question, “Why not VESTEX® for (insert your product innovation here)?” To this open-ended question, we say – “Let’s VESTEX®.”

Health Care
Fabric That First Does No Harm
VESTEX®-protected scrubs, lab coats, masks, and other health care products have been on the frontline protecting our healthcare heroes since 2009.
- VESTEX® is the first line of protection to health care workers in the hospital, clinic, or any setting where intermittent or unexpected exposure to microorganisms from blood, bodily fluids and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) can occur.
- VESTEX® fluid repellency and reduction of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) on the surface of the apparel has been proven in a hospital ICU study that showed a greater than 99.99% reduction of MRSA on VESTEX® apparel compared to traditional non-protective apparel. The MRSA reduction was statically significant both at the beginning and end of a 12-hour work shift.

First Responders
First Response Fabric For Our Frontline Workers
Like healthcare workers, intermittent or unexpected exposure to microorganisms from blood, bodily fluids and other potentially infectious material are everyday occurrences for firefighters, EMTs, police officers, and others who protect and serve in critical environments. VESTEX® fluid-repellent, antimicrobial, and moisture wicking performance adds a new line of defense for workers put at risk by these hazards.

VESTEX® fabrics repel liquids, making food service uniforms stain-resistant. Whether worn behind the food service line or by servers working tableside, VESTEX® resists spills, which simply bead up and run off the fabric. Its antimicrobial performance could also be critical in food manufacturing settings, protecting workers from food hazards like listeria and other bacteria and germs.
